Dylan Sartor

Kinesiology

Background

Dylan launched his kinesiology career at the age of 20 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from UBC. Dylan enjoys designing functional movement plans for all of his clients, educating his clients about their bodies, and finding creative ways to engage and ‘find’ muscles.

Prior to his studies Dylan from small-town Sharon, Ontario, was a full-time reserve soldier for the Canadian Armed Forces for 5 years. Besides his experience as a reservist, Dylan is an avid traveler. He has lived in Sweden, Australia, and the U.K. and has traveled to 50+ countries. He has accomplished a lot during his travels including major hikes on 6 continents.

He gained real-world experience at the Mt. Everest base camp. In 2015, Dylan spent time as a volunteer surgery assistant at the Shahid Memorial Hospital in Nepal. In that same year, he led several people to safety from Everest Base Camp when both an earthquake and avalanche occurred.

Dylan’s real-world experience, combined with his love of the outdoors converge on his special interest: understanding the human body’s limits at altitude and extreme physical activity. He applies this to each client – no matter their physical goals – to make sure that whatever they do, they can do it at optimal performance.
